Job Overview:
We are looking for a smart, versatile IT Generalist who excels in advanced triaging and troubleshooting for both web and compiled applications. This role is ideal for someone who is a "jack of all trades" in IT, capable of handling second-line support tasks and resolving complex technical issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Perform in-depth triaging and resolution of issues related to web and Windows-based applications, including specialized tools like CAD software.
  • Second-Line Support: Act as an experienced second-line support engineer, handling escalated issues and providing expert solutions.
  • Research & Collaboration: Utilize online resources effectively and liaise with vendors to gather necessary information for incident resolution.
  • Incident Management: Manage and document incidents, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining communication with stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of support processes and knowledge base articles

Your profile
  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience as an IT Generalist or Technical Support Engineer with a well-rounded skill set in various IT domains.
  • Technical Skills: At least 3 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows applications; proficient in both web-based and compiled applications; familiarity with CAD tools is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a significant plus.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and resolve complex technical issues independently.
  • Soft Skills: Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to be a "jack of all trades" in a multinational environment; capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Time Management: Ability to work remotely within EU time zones and manage workload effectively.
